About us

Rhan is rooted in its meaning of a 'part' or 'portion' of the whole.

One intricate design is used to create beautiful individual pieces drawn from the same source. These we can wear, share, and through them connect.

Our story begins with a single sheet of hand-worked metal, shaped with care and taking inspiration from the ancient craft of repousse.

Each piece draws from the natural world, personal growth, and the invisible threads that join us. All to create jewellery with history, texture, and meaning.

Awaken

Awaken is a deeply symbolic piece, rooted in transformation. It explores the journey of self-discovery and renewal amidst the chaos of the world.

Within the womb like embrace of the earth a woman is sculpted into the heart of the piece. Water droplets, delicately whirl and flow about her, symbolise the nourishment and continuity of life.

Her connection to the Earth is intimate and maternal: an umbilical cord offers grounding, nourishment, and foundation. Her other arm reaches downward, her fingers forming roots representing how our origins and our lived experiences are that from which we grow.

Her hair flows behind her, untamed and wind-swept, capturing the essence of a free spirit awakening to possibility.

While the world above swirls in chaotic motion from which elements of harmony begin to take shape. One arm stretches upward, transforming into a budding branch, a symbol of new beginnings and hope for the future.
